Do I need a prescription to receive Physical Therapy?

No. Direct Access is allowed in New Jersey, which means you do not need a prescription to start your Physical Therapy! We can start the process of your rehab right away! 

What should I expect on the first visit?

On your first visit you will be taken through an hour long comprehensive evaluation to determine the underlying cause (s) of any ailments you may be experiencing. The evaluation process includes, but is not limited to, listening to your history and learning more about your goals and lifestyle, performing necessary tests and measures, and performing appropriate treatments to immediately get you started on your individualized plan. 

What can I expect my sessions to be like?

Each session is tailored individually to you! Since we offer direct one-on-one services with a licensed Physical Therapist, the session could include, but not limited to, manual therapy, corrective exercise, patient education, neuromuscular re-education, and more! Ultimately, the Physical Therapist determines the most appropriate course of treatment for you on that day!

What makes Drive Physical Therapy and Performance different?

Since we offer unique one-on-one direct treatment for 1 hour in duration with a licensed Physical Therapist every session, we have the ability to assess, modify, progress, and make any necessary corrections during each one of your sessions.
